International Travel

May 11, 2006

The U.S. Department of State provides guidance for international travel at travel.state.gov.  There you will find travel warnings, Consular Information Sheets, tips for traveling abroad and document requirements.  You will also find the New Requirements for Travelers, established by the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004, which requires that by January 1, 2008, travelers to and from the Caribbean, Bermuda, Panama, Mexico and Canada “have a  passport or other secure, accepted document to enter or re-enter the United States.“
